Interactive Promo Campaign at the Stadium Opening for the Megafon

Public company MegaFon, is a large telecommunications company that provides cellular services, as well as an amount of related services in this area.

Task

To develop a promo campaign, for the Stadium Opening, that will attract football fans and increasing the popularity of the telecom operator.

Solution

We had developed the software for a photo booth installed at the entrance of the newly opened stadium. With the help of our face recognition software, a virtual flag was applied on the cheeks of visitors, then the guests were photographed, photos were printed, and the users took them as souvenirs.

How it works

Fans of the match are photographed with the ball on the stadium field. People's faces are recognized by the system, and then their cheeks are automatically recolored as the flag’s colors. The system takes several photos, then prompts the user to select one of them and is sent for printing. The user can post the photo on social media with a hashtag.

Result

In the photo booth, 30 000 viewers were photographed. They shared photos on social media with the hashtag #intrulytogether and took the printed photo cards as mementos.
