The engineering division of the state corporation Rosatom is one of the leading Russian companies in the field of power engineering and it occupies leading positions in supplying of power equipment for nuclear power stations.

Task

To develop a presentation representing the Customer’s products at the international level for the global forum Atomexpo 2022, the latest event of the world nuclear industry, in which all significant players take part. The presentation should represent four floating nuclear power units carrying nuclear reactor plants and providing heat and energy to hard-to-reach areas under different climatic conditions. It is significant to present the nuances of technical parameters of power units and specifics of their operation for potential customers and investors.

Solution

Using the latest achievements of the digital industry, Ariseum experts developed a project for an effective holographic video presentation of nuclear installations hidden in the subsoils of floating power units. The presentation is accompanied by colorful special effects VFX and is controlled by the viewer remotely, by means of gestures.

How it works

Holographic video content is demonstrated synchronously on two transparent screens. Visitors can control video presentations remotely, switching between content is executed by means of gestures, using Kinect sensor technology. Choosing one of the power units, the visitor has the opportunity to get acquainted with its characteristics. At the same time, the second screen shows synchronously the heart of the power unit - a nuclear reactor plant with all technical nuances.

What we have provided

Ariseum specialists developed the design of the project and written a scenario for multimedia content of the video presentation, rendered complex 3D graphics, under tight deadlines developed branding videos with special effects VFX, presented in two languages.

Produced software to perform a simultaneous launch of videos on two screens.

Transparent holographic screens, which allow to achieve the effect of weightlessness, are the property of the company Ariseum and were rented to the Customer during the event. All necessary equipment was delivered to the forum site, and the project was installed and dismantled at the exhibition.

Result

Due to the transparency effect of holographic screens floating nuclear power units hover in the air. Such a spectacular presentation attracts an attention of the visitors, they show an active interest in the Rosatom stand at the exhibition.
