3D models, animations, and VFX of the gas compressor and gas turbine unit
Our specialists have developed gas compressor and gas turbine units, as well as animations and a series of special visual effects for the mobile app developed by Ariseum at the request of the United Engine Corporation.
Customer's background
UEC Corporation (United Engine Corporation) is a company that manufactures engines for military and civil aviation, space programs, gas turbine units of various capacities for the production of electric and thermal energy, gas pumping and ship gas turbine units.
Task
To provide a visual representation of the gas compressor and gas turbine units’ operating procedures. Consequently, to develop models of the units and their parts, animate the circuit blowup, and to prepare additional effects and animations for an interactive logic game.
What we have provided
- Drilled down the materials provided by the customer and dip into the operation of the gas compressor and gas turbine unit
- After working out the logic game scenario, we made an advanced list of details necessary for modeling

Solution
We have scrupulously studied the standard operating procedures and the composition of the gas compressor and gas turbine unit. Having got all the processes and details in order, we wrote a logic game script for each of the units. Based on the data provided by the customer, our modelers created and textured the following units:

Special effects of illumination, appearance, rotation, as well as animation of right parts arrangement and many others were designed and implemented for each of the units. Separately, an illustration of gas transportation through the main gas pipeline was made in the form of animated flows over buildings.
Special shaders were written for the models and post-processing was performed. All the content has been optimized for displaying on mobile devices.
7 modelers, 4 animators and a video designer were engaged in the project.
