The specialists of the Ariseum Company have developed a set of 3D models, animations, and special effects for an interactive presentation demonstrating the railway cargo protection methods employed by the "Security of the Railway Transport" State Enterprise.

The Federal State Enterprise "Security of the Railway Transport" escorts and protects cargos transported by rail.

Task

To develop 3D models, animations, and special effects according to the script. To create the presentation as clear, comprehensive, and vivid as possible.

Solution

According to the casual model rendering style selected by the customer we have developed:

1. A 3D model of the train surrounded by four types of an abstract landscape: A green field, a forest, rural villages, and urban buildings
2. A railway container in three sizes
3. A railway carriage in two sizes
4. A locomotive
5. A railway platform
6. A passenger platform
7. A station building with three tracks
8. Cargo with boxes and pallets
9. A lorry
10. A security vehicle
11. A robbers' vehicle
12. Traffic lights and signs on railway hauls and roads
13. Characters: security employees, security workers, a shipper, an employee of the Railways company, a security guard with a rifle, a dog, and a burglar

Unique textures in the corporate colours of the customer were developed for all models. The carriages, the locomotive, and the containers are coloured in their real colours. The characters representing the employees of the company are dressed in special overalls, whereas for the shippers and burglars we designed with regular outfits.

Lively special effects show the electronic protection system of the train and containers, the breakage of this system, and the alarm signals. 

The animations for all the elements of the scene follow the script. The animators and programmers of the Ariseum company together developed and set up all the animations in the scene, such as: Signing of a contract, acceptance of the cargo, loading into a railway carriage, guarding of the railway transport, the rounds of the containers, the intrusion of robbers into a wagon and elimination of a threat, as well as the movement of the train across the landscape through fields and tunnels, movement of special vehicles, and operation of the station.

All models, animations, and special effects were created within 1.5 months and successfully integrated into the app. 

The development of the content required the work of 12 modelers, video designers, and animators.
