For an AR mobile app that presents a future renovation project for the CHPP thermal power station, the Ariseum modelers’ team has developed 3D models of all buildings located on the plant’s territory.

Customer's background

Energy Directorate is a powerful and steadily developing company that has been implementing large-scale projects in the energy sector.

Task

To develop low-poly 3D models of buildings and units located on the plant’s territory in their new, reconstructed form according to the provided plans and drawings.

What we have provided

• Analyzed the existing buildings on the plant’s territory and the provided plans and drawings of the structures after renovation
• Modeled and textured the renewed plant’s buildings
• Added special effects demonstrating the power plant’s operation

Solution

According to the materials provided by the customer we have developed:

• The main unit building (I)
• The main unit building (II)

• The chemical water treatment unit building (HVO)

• The main switchgear building (GRU)

• The ash-pump house

• Chimneys (2 pcs.)
• The environment surrounding the plant, like roads, sidewalks, lawns, and trees

For all models, were chosen and created original textures that include shadow textures and a heightmap. The models were enhanced by special effects demonstrating the power plant’s operation.
